well, i made it through the memorial service. these last few days have been rough planning and getting all the arrangements made for it. everyone thought it was turned out great. they felt good to finally say goodbye and get some closure on sid's death. i think they all felt some sense of comfort. i was really nervous to stand in front of all my peers, over 80 of them. it was a nice turnout for a memorial. everyone loved sid. most people were pretty choked up, but they were all in the same boat and they felt good to share their felelings with others. the best part is that it only lasted 45 minutes. it is the shortest service i've ever been to, but it was very sweet and what needed to be said was said. the uncle was the best. he helped me alot with the program and everything that needed to be done. my co-workers helped, especially denise from rio vista, and tony from vacaville. they were the best. i could not have done it by myself. i'm glad we had the opportunity to do this for sid and his family. they are great people like him. i'm wore out and so is the uncle. we get to sleep in tomorrow. what a deal! love u all.
sid, i'm really going to miss you. you were a great friend. thanks for all you did for my family and i. i love you my friend.
