i did not remember how fun disney is with a toddler like zae. she had a blast! she was so good. she only fussed once. i think it was about the ice cream she was eating. she was starting to make a mess so we tried to take it away from her. it was my favorite dole pineapple softy. we started our day friday at disney and ended it at california adventure.
she loved "it's a small world", dumbo, teacups, the jungle cruise and buzz lightyear. she did not like star tours. she jumped out of her seat and they had to stop the ride just when it was getting to the good part. everyone on the ride was nice about it. she went to the haunted mansion, but she did not really like it. she is cared of ghost and monsters.
painter loved "it's a small world" also. she is a bit young to take it all in, but you could tell that she was enjoying herself. she loved all the lights and colors every where we went. she is quite the moma's girl right now, so she loved being just with her mom. josh and tova where just happy to be there with all of us. sis was missing will, but i think that she was so happy to see zae having so much fun.
nan was worried about meeting up with mary and them all of friday. she kept calling, but they did not answer. we did our own thing with josh and tova, sis and zae, john, mom and i. we finally got a hold of them and they said they would call when they got back to the park at about 9pm. they never called. we left and headed to dinner at el toritos. uncle saul met us there. john, mom, and zae headed back to the hotel for some sleep. dinner was yummie.
saturday we got a later start then we wanted to, a half hour late, but it all worked out. marys family finally called and said where they were at, so we met up with them after we went on a few rides. tate was great with the little girls and took them on the teacups and toon town after the haunted mansion and winnie the pooh. we spent a couple of hours with them, and then headed to my favorite restaurant, cheese cake factory.
we returned to california adventure for the pixar parade after lunch. zae was sad that it ended, then we rode my favorite rides, soaring through california and tower of terror. we ended the day with fantasmic. it was great as usual.
we had a great time just being together as a family. we missed jj and will, who did not come. the hotel was 6 miles away, not that far, but at the end of the night it felt further away. it was a great place with an indoor pool and great breakfast. we swam a little with painter and zae on friday.
thursday night after we left the dealership were josh bought his toyota 4 runner, we went to the rain forest cafe. zae has been wanting to go there. she had a blast. food is always one of the best parts of a vacation, and we were not disappointed by anything we ate. it was all great. from the chocolate caramel apples to the cheesecake, it was all good. i was just happy to see josh, tova and painter. we hope to see more of them. painter will be doing johnson and johnson. she will be taking after her dad and mom.
this was the start of something i hope to do every year, a nice vacation with my kids and theirs. there is nothing like family. we are all so blessed to have each other. love you all.
