MISS YOU ALL

life has been hectic the last few weeks. i went from being in emergency to working the next day with some limitations. then i took off to new york at the end of the week.

the packing and move was hard! i got to hand it to josh for keeping it all together. i had prearranged a moving company that was going to give us 2 men and a moving truck. since we were no longer making a cross country move, we found a place that would store things till we made some decisions about the move. the day before the move we called to comfirm only to have them hang up on us twice. we pacnicked a little, since we had to be out of the apartment the next day. prayers are answered! we called around and found a storage place that provided a free moving truck, we now only needed some manpower. i walked to home depot and only found one guy that could help. on my way back to the apartment i prayed and remembered that the first night i had found a note that the missionaries left josh on the door. it had their phone number and i stored in my phone just in case. the note said to call them if he needed anything. well, call i did. they were thrilled to help out. they actually had a big block of open time to help us. my prayers were answered.

now lets get back to the packing. there were only a couple of packed boxes when i got there saturday morning. the move was tuesday. i looked around and wanted to cry. i have not moved in a while, but i could see that this move was not going to be easy. i packed and packed for the next three days. i also did alot of cleaning and alot of crying at the same time. i was afraid that we were not going to get it all done in time. josh had to work and tova had to leave for la. i was pretty much on my own. they helped as much as they could, but they could only do so much. again my prayers were answered and i went on very little sleep for four days. i had maybe 8 hours total those four days. i stayed up all night and took a little nap in the early morning. all got packed and we were ready for the move tuesday morning.the missionaries were another answer to prayers and they were the best workers ever. joshs' friend tripp helped also. we got it all done in less than 4 hours and 2 trips. all it cost was lunch for the missionaries at our favorite japanese bistro. everything fit in the storage unit, and we even got the first month for free.

as tired as we were and as hot as it was, josh and i finished cleaning his place just in time for me to go to the airport. i got there with only five minutes to spare. i was so wired up that i could not even sleep on the plane. i was so greatful to be done . what a job that was, and how greatful i was that it was all done and that everything worked out.

for all of you who have not talked to us lately, we working on a family cruise for june 4th to june 7th from san diego. it is just 3 nights, but it is very affordable. let us know if you want to join us. we would love to have everyone onboard and spend some quality time together. miss you all.
